Ashley County Medical Center is proud to be home to a multidisciplinary surgery department that serves both inpatients and outpatients. For more than a century, our hospital has faithfully served the local community, providing excellent health services and treatment for decades. We are continually developing our surgical department to better improve the outcomes we are able to deliver to our patients.

We currently offer the following procedures:

• General Surgery
• Orthopedic Surgery
• OB/GYN Surgery
• Endoscopy
• Cataract Surgery

At ACMC, we are focused on maintaining exceptional patient experiences in every service or surgery we provide.

That is why our surgery department consists of:

• 2 OR Suites
• 1 Endoscopy Suite
• Post Anesthesia Care Unit
• Central Sterile Receiving

Surgery is covered by 4 CRNA’s, RN’s, and Scrub Techs. We are available to perform surgical procedures for patients 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
